I'm so sorry (and very surprised your insurance company isn't being supportive) but am glad your family is safe and some photos are intact.
i guess it isn't uncommon for condo insurance to not cover that type of thing. (hubby said the same would have been true at our old condo). seems like a pretty big loophole! so sorry for your misfortune dear...

I'm so sorry, ScienceMama. This sucks, even more so with the non-paying insurance. I'm glad everyone is safe at least. Like Sciencewoman said, if there's something we can do, let us know!
