Hooray!!
I just got a call a few minutes ago from my Program Official at the American Cancer Society. The post-doctoral fellowship application that I wrote just weeks before Bean was born is being funded!! Hooray!! I am so glad that I don't have to write and re-submit!!
So many exclamation points!!

I'm also a molecular biologist, in the final year of my PhD, and thinking of a possible addition to the family.... People like you and sciencewoman make it seem possible, but mostly, I appreciate the honesty about the tough times too. So thanks for telling it like it is and inspiring the rest of us :)
