Friday night

Me: Ask me what I did tonight.

You: Okay ScienceMama, what'd you do tonight?

Me: Dismantled, scoured, then reassembled the entire fridge.

You: Um... wow?

Me: While vaguely watching/listening to trashy TV, thank you very much.

That's right, motherhood has turned me into a wild woman. My Friday nights are spent cleaning my fridge. Don't try to get in the way of my good time, you might get hurt.

Well, I read blogs then took Niquil at 9:45 and went to bed. If that's not a screaming good time, I dont' know what is. :)

BTW, the other night I had a dream you moved to my city and we became friends. No doubt because of the comment I left here the other day. Funny, huh?

Yeah, I came home completely exhausted, watched two episodes of The Daily Show I had saved to my Tivo, read a few pages of my book and went to bed at 10:30.

I think when you work Mon-Fri, it's hard to get up the energy to go out on Friday.

Hey, don't blame motherhood for your obsession with a clean fridge. Becoming a mom hasn't had that effect on me! ;)

I often laugh at how much motherhood has changed me. Every time we head out its has been after weighing whether the effort required to maintain the child is worth the benefit of going out.

Sciencemama, I'd be impressed with myself if I did something so productive on a Friday night.

I have no idea what I did this past Friday. Can't remember. Probably passed out after getting the kids to sleep...
